Hi,

A happy new year with a lot of amptalk to start with.

And "to get in to the house with the front door" as we say here in
Belgium a question for those who have more knowledge on the Peavey amps
then me.
As seen in the titel a PV8.5C amp is on my desk.
1 Channel burned out. Most componenets have been replaced. Thanks to
Peavey for sending the schematic.
But I have a few questions concerning components:

The poweramp unit:
CR144 and CR145 (SAC187 and SBS14) A Triac and a diac.
These are gone, but what to use instead?
Triac; I believe any type of 16 amps will do.
The diac, I don't know. At what voltage will it conduct?
Any help appreciated.
Any comments on this amp to.

Schematic is available if needed.

Thanks,

Zilog
