I recently picked up an M88 1957 model of the Rickenbacker amp. Does anyone
know where I can get a schematic for this amp? Has a three tube layout 5y3
6v6 and 12ax with tone control.
thanks

Have you tried contacting Rickenbacker directly? They may have archives of
old schematics. They have a great showroom/museum with a lot of cool old
stuff in it. They have always been friendly and helpful every time I've
dealt with them. If they have it, I'm sure they would help you. If not,
good luck! I couldn't find one on the net ( I'm sure you did the same).

Yes I have they did not return my email went to the rickenbacker site been
to the forum. Seems I have one of the first versions of the M88. It looks
like the M8 speaker is offset from center yet the controls are on the top
back of amp not on the back of amp like the m8. Mine has the tone control
plus the 6v6 12ax where the m8 has a dual 6v6 tube setup.

Hmmm. I see that they have schematics available for download on the site,
and the M88 isn't there. They may not have it. Emails are notoriously
ignored by companies. I would give them a call or write and ask them.
