Stupid question? How would a vintage JBL 123A-1 12" driver out of an
L100 studio monitor work in a low watt guitar amp? Would it be
shredded at full volume? Sound too bassy? Any ideas appreciated.

Low end only, very little, if any highs, and the
speaker (trying to reproduce said mid-highs)
would break up. If it's one of the 'white cone'
units (real old) you are wasting a good speaker.

But hey, try it. JBL's hold good power, although
I'd never run it over 20 watts. I also doubt
if you'd like the sound. Let us know what happens.
